Calming the Chaos in My Head

Have you, for once, been overwhelmed with the noise inside your head? Well, I did.

I was doing fine fixing things that matter most to me until I saw it fell apart all at once. I bawled my eyes out countless of times. I prayed, hoping that things would get better one day yet sometimes I also curse for how things went wrong. I knew nobody could help me unless I decide to really move on. And if you have been brokenhearted or frustrated, may it be with your career or relationship, you would understand that it surely takes time to heal. But then I got tired with the waves of emotions coming back and forth and dealing with frustrations in silent. I needed to put an end with the chaos within so I signed up for a yoga class.

Yoga has been a great stress reliever for me since the day I joined. I find it ideal to achieve my goal - sense of calmness - as it is "a meditative means of discovering dysfunctional perception and cognition, as well as overcoming it for release from suffering, inner peace and salvation." I am proud that I am now more capable of handling my negative emotions. This is a work in progress and I hope that in time by God's grace, I will fully attain inner peace.
